I am a recent graduate from the School of Informatics and Computing at Indiana University, Indianapolis with a Master’s in Human Computer Interaction.

My research interests lie primarily in exploring and designing for user experience with Natural User interfaces and gestural interaction techniques. At SoIC, I was part of the Philanthropics Informatics Research Lab at IUPUI as a Research Assistant to Dr. Amy Voida where I worked on exploring the advocacy of blogging networks from an Informatics and HCI standpoint. I have also been a part of a research team working on data-morphed topographies for improving upon the precision of touchless interaction with large wall-sized displays.

I am a programmer and a creative thinker at heart and hold a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Pune, India. I also worked briefly at Persistent Systems Ltd. before moving abroad for higher education. Having a diverse background and exposure to research in various fields, I hope to make a contribution to this vast field of Human-Computer Interaction.

Currently, I consult as a UX Researcher at a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company, evaluating interfaces with a focus on user-centered design and offering key analytics and insights to stakeholders. Please feel free to get in touch with me.
